metamorphosis
May 31st, 2015 Cosmin ManciLittle more than a month ago Cristian made me a gift … 2 pupa of 2 exotic species of Lepidoptera … sadly the first one not ended well 🙁 .
Calligo eurilochus … this one emerged after few days but as you can see the metamorphosis not ended as should be.
In the last 3 days I have seen the first sign that something is happening with the pupa of Attacus atlas that I have received ….
…and last night just when wanted to start eating had the surprise to find it when all started … next photos are a succession of what happened in almost 4 hours of observations and running to eat 🙂 .
Thanks Cristian and if you are in Cluj or you plan to visit the city soon make a visit to the exposition of live butterflies and moth … will worth it.
