19.iunie.2008 Irlanda -> Romania

Am ajuns si la capatul acestei aventuri, noaptea am ajuns in Romania… si pe dimineata la Iasi.

Cateva impresii de acolo, din Irlanda:

– daca puteti sa mergeti acolo sa o faceti, merita

– totul este atat de verde

– o chestie negativa: in carti scrie ca esti liber sa mergi cam peste tot, sunt cam circumspect la asta… peste tot sunt garduri, garduri, garduri… si nu in felul celor de aici de la noi. Acolo e vorba de garduri de piatra sau poate ca e mai bine spus ziduri, dar nu sunt prea inalte de obicei. Poate daca stai mai mult intr-o zona poti vorbi cu proprietarul si sa te plimbi dar cand esti pe goana sunt doar piedici. Fiecare petic de pamant in general este imprejmuit, nu conteaza ca e mlastina, turbarie, padure, margine de drum…

– daca mergi cu masina si doar mergi nu vei vedea nimic, in majoritatea cazurilor pe margine sunt acele garduri/ziduri si nu poti vedea nimic

– este foarte scump, sa aveti asta in vedere

Cam atat imi vine acum sa scriu… ma voi intoarce la ce e in Romania, probabil ca urmatorul post va fi din Retezat.

    Very interesting blog posts about Ireland Cosmin. You, Gaby and my Mom share the same views (pardon the pun) about the hedges in Ireland. As we have the least forested country in Europe, our hedges are seen as an important natural habitat. So I am afraid they will always be a barrier for seeing the countryside from cars. I had intended to post this pe romaneste dar nu vorbesc si nu scriu bine romaneste.Noapte buna din tara verde.

    Hi Gerry,

    thanks for everything and also for trying to read this (i think is not easy 😉 ).
    the hedges are not a problem for me, i just have a slight problem with all the fences/walls 😉 … but also hem constitute in the end one very interesting habitat.
    and we have already talked about this. you can’t really see the places from the car. if you really want to see something you have to go on foot (is not about you, just a general way to saying).

    i think Island is part of Europe, if yes they really don’t have any forest so i think is not “the least forested” country.

    Irlanda este o tara cu peisaje extraordinare.Am vizitat-o anul acesta a doua oara.

    da, este. poate voi mai ajunge acolo odata.
    multe nu le-am vazut, sau ce am vazut a fost prea putin …
